Fresh squeezed or the pulp which one is better?

I believe in freedom of speech, but I also follow what mother rabbit said in Bambi: If you can’t say anything nice don’t say anything at all (Bambi 1942.) I feel if you have a tasteful way of saying that someone did not quite hit the mark, then you are more respected as a teaching moment versus downright being mean and creating a career destroying moment. You really only get one first impression, so why not make it a good one.

To be a blogger, I do feel you have more freedom and flexibility to write and say what you want to say, while a fashion writer has an agenda and a script to basically follow for the basis of the company they work for.

I do feel that the mystery and celebrity of the fashion writer has lost its appeal, since the bloggers came to the scene. They have made what took some writers years to achieve seem like a wasted effort, when all they needed was basically a computer, camera, and a writing ability with a history of fashion.

So, do I feel one is better than the other, no. I think they are both needed. We need someone to give it to us straight, and others need someone to sugar-coat and make life seem fun and exciting with no chance of rain. “I think we have so much fashion right now… And there are so many angles to come at it, there is room for everybody” ( Park et al., 2017.)
