The End Of Fashion As We Know It

Before I sat down at Amalie’s I had expectations of seeing the same types of clothing that I have seen on social media, but boy was I wrong. It was quite an upset.

With the world currently with no change in site. I feel that some people are lost or they are just content with not dressing up anymore. This is not a good sign for the fashion world, as more and more stores close or try to revamp their approach to appeal to the masses.

What I saw was a bunch of people afraid of fashion. The older and younger people were mostly in athleisure and Birkenstocks or climbing sandals, not much effort I felt. They seemed to fade into the background, and I think they liked it. No pressure to look good since we cannot even see each other anymore.

I feel that some of us are in a comfort rut, and need to be “woke” to the beauty that is being created right now around us. Give in and switch it up, the world will thank you, and you will thank yourself for not conforming.
