Clickbait has a strong popularity these days, but I am not sure if the people that end up clicking on it would feel the same after falling victim to it.
These headlines get me at least once a day. The most upsetting part for me is that the photo they used to lure me in, is not even on the page I am sent to when I click on it. When I fall for this I feel like a sucker, and it makes me not want to click or read other stories as often, so my trust is being questioned daily.
Unfortunately, I think clickbait headlines are here to stay, and I feel they are only going to get worse. They probably have monitoring systems to keep an eye on what stories get the most clicks, and then they use that data, to create more content for their victims.
